MUM came into my room, and sat down on the bed.

"Next week you'll be 19 already. Become adult already.
So you must think like adult, act like adult.
Papa work hard to pay for your studies. So you got to work hard also.
I don't need to tell you what to do. You should know what to do.
From Monday onwards I won't wake you up anymore. You wake up yourself."

Me:
"Don't worry, Ma."

Mum:
(No expression)
"Ya okay?"
(Thinking)

Me:
(Softly)
"I will know what to do, okay. Don't worry."

Mum:
"Your results like that ah. 60 plus like that very hard to get into the school you want.
Make sure you know how to manage your time and handle well."

the atmosphere

Quiet.
Is what describes the sunny, humid morning.

Could only hear cars outside rubbing their tyres on the road.
Holidays are OVER.
Back to school. Back to projects. Back to hectic reality.
I counted my red packets. Got almost the same amount as last year!

All in all, I enjoyed my Chinese New Year celebrations.
Although it was quite simple.
There wasn't enough time to catch up with all my cousins. Times have changed.
We have now grown up. It wouldn't be like the time when we ran around the block, laughing and playing catching. We could joke like nobody's business.

But now, the topic has changed.
Sigh.

While I am typing this, I've already worn my contact lens for 24 hours straight!
Was too tired to take them out last night.
Sigh.

I shall go to the bathroom - to remove the lens and 'open up my backdoor'!

mood is good

HAPPY

It's a nice word to describe my day.
The mood in Mikhail's camp is good.

AL project has been submitted.
Relief has built its houses in my body.
It was done before its deadline - Five thirty!

Filling my stomach after that, with YOU by my side, was great.
I've enjoyed myself.
THANKS !

Challenged myself in keeping up with a lyrical hip hop routine.
Was tiring and head-scratching, but satisfying.

And.
Chinese New Year is around the corner!
It's SO fast - only feels like yesterday when I heard a goofy anthem sung by 987fm DJs.
TWO YEARS AGO !

no reason to be lazy

Remember Spiderman 2?
Dr. Otto told Peter Parker that he is "Brilliant but lazy!"

Well, it could relate to me.
I think I'm smart, but I'm super lazy. Sometimes even lazy to think, which makes me look stupid.
I just want to SLEEP everytime. DREAM everytime. LAZE everytime.

I know it sounds SO wrong.
It doesn't make me a world shaker. It doesn't make me a history maker.
It doesnt't make me a salt of the earth. It doesn't make me a light of the world.

That's why I got to get out... of my comfort zone!
Seriously.
I need to pray about it.

What makes me feel like this today?
Well, my load of school work.
Project, project, project.
A word that I see/use/hear everyday now. And it'll last for the next 2 weeks or so.

AL project is due this Friday. Quite tough. Could be done on time.
AMP2 project is due next week. Quite easy. Could be done on time.
AS project is due... I don't know when! Should be manageable.

After those have been submitted and presented, it's crunch time for the EXAMS !!!
Many many texts to read.
Many many formulas to remember.

And there's still Suntec dance trainings.
Plus, I need to work during the holidays to earn some income.

So...
THERE'S NO REASON FOR ME TO BE LAZY !!!

Football - plenty to laugh about !

Bolton 0 - 1 Manchester United
For me, being the Red Devils' ardent supporter, you can never know how I feel.
Shots after shots by United players only found the hands of Bolton's stronghold gurdian, Jaaskelainen. Overwhelming frustration all around, I could only hope for the best.
89 minutes passed.
Berbatov scored a header !!!
Just like the United fans at the Reebok, I stood up with my fists clenched tight in the air.
Emotions running through my body.
Manchester United are at the top of the league table. One point ahead.



Chelsea 2 - 1 Stoke City
My sister went back to sleep after seeing Delap scoring for Stoke, and Chelsea not finding the net. It looked to the Blues that they were going to suffer another home defeat.
After celebrating United's victory, I switched to another channel - To see the score being 1-1 !
Belletti scored, the commentator said. And then there were 4 minutes of added time after 90.
Expecting the score to stay, I witnessed firing squads of Chelsea in the Stoke goal front.
And Lampard strikes the winner!
Chelsea coach, players and fans were ecstatic!



Gosh! Gosh!
What a day of football. And I'm lucky to see it all.
Late goals turning the game and the championship odds.
Woo!

I can now sleep in peace...
... so does my sister !

mixed feelings

The angel beside my right ear is grinning.
The devil beside my left ear is smirking.

The problem is:
I HAVE MIXED FEELINGS.

I've seen the new NRA schedule.
My name isn't in A4.
I scrolled down...
And saw it.
In Class B.

I want to ask:
Why did I switch? What's the meaning?
Maybe I know.
But I don't want to think too much.

My mind is confused. One side says THIS, one side says THAT.
The thing is:
I can't bear to be apart from A4, the awesome peeps I'm close to.
Hmm... But we are still dancing, yeah?
Still ONE family no matter what!

HAHA!

the journey

"Please wait. System starting up."
Screw the transitlink top-up machine in school !!!
It was the same orangey screen with THOSE words - FOR 2 DAYS!

Does it take 48 hours (or more, I don't know) to start up the system???
Sigh!

But thank God, my coin pouch was heavy. I had to dig up the dimes to cover up my transport cost - Before going down to Bishan to buy my concession.

I was thinking:
How nice would it be if I can drive to school?
Definitely much much more convenient.

I had to go back and forth to school today. Like this:
Home -> School (Just to meet my IE lecturer for an hour)
School -> Home (Just to put down my stuff and I don't wanna spend 2 hours in school alone)
Home -> School (Just to attend an Open House briefing for 30 minutes)
School -> Home (End of story!)

Countdown - 92 days
To get my hands on my very own driver's license!
But.
NO CAR!!!

So hard

Mind over body. Mind over body. Mind over body.
I meditated upon these words. Effectively.

Why is it so hard to wake up in the morning? Why do I always feel tired and cranky?
Can barely open up my eyes to see the time on my digital clock in front of my bed.
Oh wait, I need to get my glasses! But still...

Yes, it takes quite an amount of effort to take myself to the bathroom.
Wash up, brush my teeth, do my business.
And get ready for school.
Today's the first day of school - in the new year!

Well, actually I'm NOT going to school first.
Because of a mistake, a misjudgement - I have to go for my driving lessons. And miss the first 2 hours of class.

I'm missing the holidays (still in its mood)
Danzation.
Christmas time with family.
New year countdown.
Sofia's wedding in KL.

That was how I spent my 3 weeks break.
It has been good. But now, I gotta face reality. My full time job - Being a student!

79, 72 and 69 is what I got for my common test papers.
Airworthiness Legislation, Thermofluid 2 and Mechanics of Flight respectively.
You see, I'm just an average student. But I'm satisfied with it though. I can work much harder!
5 more weeks - to exams.
3 project papers to complete. And not a single one started.

I need to buck up. January. A hectic month.
I can handle it. I believe!
